Laser Therapy has been successfully used to treat many conditions such as acute and chronic pain reduction, repetitive use disorders , soft tissue strains and sprains, inflammation reduction, enhanced tissue healing, and cell regeneration. This year we have upgraded to a NEW Laser which is one of the best available. In fact, it is the same laser that the Denver Broncos use to treat their professional athletes. Our laser, however,  has been calibrated for Veterinary use and helps to stimulates the mitochondria of the cell to generate greater amounts of ATP, our body’s primary molecular energy source. With more energy available at the cellular level, the possibilities of healing become endless.

Stem Cell therapy is a very effective treatment method in veterinary medicine. Used as a method to manage pain conditions such as osteoarthritis, tendon and ligament damage, hip dysplasia, degenerative joint disease, and fractured bones, stem cell therapy has a huge variety of uses.

Stem cells reside in your animal’s fat tissues, on the day of the procedure we begin by removing a small amount of fatty tissue from your animal. The stem cells are then extracted from the fatty tissue and processed by a technician. Once prepared the cell are re-introduced into the areas of interest on the animal. Significant improvement is generally seen with-in 3 weeks and can last from 1-3 years.

Platelet Rich Plasma “PRP” Injections  can be used as a long term pain management options. During a PRP treatment, the animal is left at our clinic for a full day. We draw blood from the animal, then the component parts of the blood are centrifuged and separated. Then the platelet rich plasma is collected and activated for injection. A patient’s PRP can be frozen and used again at a later date; without the need for another blood draw!
